Hi, I have been Roger for a few decades, living half my life in Silicon Valley (Los Gatos, CA). I am married and have two teenage daughters (poor me! Thus the title of my blog). I grew up in Chicago and Michigan and graduated with a B.S. Computer Science from Michigan State University (GO SPARTANS!). Upon earning my degree I realized I was not meant to be an engineer and went into Technical Sales for a large semiconductor company. I moved to Silicon Valley with my 2nd company and have enjoyed a career in Sales and Business Dev for Semiconductor and Embedded Software companies. I've managed a small business and worked for large multi-national corporations and start-ups.
I took a temporary detour and started an early stage angel fund along the way. I am self-educated in the financial markets, securities trading and Angel investing. These interests motivated me to "validate" my education with BU's MS BFSM program. This is my 2nd class.
I have no blogging experience but ironically I was thinking of starting a blog on male midlife crisis featuring a household with menopause and female puberty all in one! The stories I can tell will surely appeal to at least 49.3% of the U.S. population (http://www.chacha.com/question/what-is-the-ratio-of-men-to-women,-in-the-u.s)
